Women's Ministry
I am head of Women's Ministry for the upcoming year, and would like to thank Betty Brewer for her service in this position for the past few years. She and Pastor Cindy have organized many events and especially grown the Women of Faith participation to a busload and close to 50 ladies participating. Lisa and Alissa Thompson have been organizing the Women's Brunches since Sarah went back South. In fact, January 3rd at 10:30, ladies enjoyed a delicious brunch, as well as viewed the many crèches/nativity scenes on display. Patti Rollins has often hosted the Ladies Night Out events.
I hope to continue with an every other month Friday or Saturday Ladies Night Out with a light supper and movie or some other activity, and the Women's Brunches on Saturday morning at 10:30 am every other month for the upcoming year.
I am looking for other ideas you might have for the women in our church to get together, socialize, learn, and probably eat.....so, please speak to me with your ideas! I hope to hold a meeting of past leaders and others in early January to further plan for the upcoming year.

On February 13th at 6:00 pm, we will be having a supper followed by a movie. Polly Thompson and I are hosting the supper, and Patti Rollins the movie. Please come and join the fun!
