WOMEN OF FAITH CONFERENCE
Dear Ladies,
I am so excited to go to the Women of Faith Conference in Boston in July. Plans are really coming together and several women are already committed to attending. However, it is not too late to invite a friend or family member to attend. The theme of this year's conference is Infinite Grace and the pre-conference is titled
I Second that Emotion and will feature Patsy Clairmont, Anita Renfroe, and Jan Silvious. The dates of the conference are July 25-26. We will be leaving Corinth UMC on Thursday evening the 24th around 5:00 and traveling to Burlington, MA where we will be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. We will return on Saturday the 26th at the conclusion of the conference.
I would ask that everyone make a deposit on their trip of $100 by April 15, 2008 with the remaining $142 due to the church by June 1st, so we may pay the bill for the rooms and the tickets when they come in. I would ask that everyone make their checks out to CUMC with a notation of Women of Faith on the memo line. For accounting purposes please give your check to me directly.
A reminder that the money you pay now to the church covers the cost of your ticket for Friday and Saturday as well as a box lunch and breakfast for both days. It also covers the cost of your room for Thursday and Friday (based on 4 women per room) as well as transportation by Cyr bus.
